Are you a Cincinnati resident with an RV or motorhome that’s no longer being used? Many families find that their once-beloved recreational vehicle is now collecting dust in the driveway or taking up space in storage. Whether it’s a Class A Tiffin or a trusty travel trailer, these vehicles hold memories of countless adventures, but life changes can lead to their disuse. Donating your RV not only frees up space but also allows you to make a significant impact in the community.
At Revive Wheels, we understand that every RV has its own story. Perhaps you’ve explored the scenic routes of Ohio, from the Appalachian foothills to the shores of Lake Erie. Now, by donating your vehicle, you’re ensuring that someone else can create their own unforgettable experiences. Plus, your contribution can reduce your monthly storage costs, making it a win-win for your finances and the community.

How pickup works
Picking up your donated RV or motorhome is seamless with Revive Wheels. Our team specializes in utilizing flatbed trucks designed specifically for RV transport. If your vehicle is in a storage lot or RV park, we coordinate with the facility to ensure a smooth pickup process. It's crucial to keep in mind the vehicle's length and height, as most states enforce a maximum clearance of 13'6”. This ensures safe and compliant transport, allowing us to collect your RV efficiently, whether we drive it away or utilize our specialized transport services.
What drives donation value
The value of your RV or motorhome donation is influenced by several factors, primarily the condition of its house systems. Elements like the roof, slides, plumbing, and air conditioning play a significant role in determining value, often more than the drivetrain. Water damage can lead to major devaluation, so it’s crucial to maintain your vehicle. Having recent maintenance records also adds value, especially if you’re considering timing your donation around peak auction seasons in spring, where demand is high. For classic RVs, an appraisal may be necessary to fully understand the vehicle's worth, especially for IRS compliance.
Documentation you need
- Title of the vehicle
- Service records for maintenance history
- MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin) for off-road units
- Appraisal documentation for classic models (IRS Form 8283 Section B)
- Any lien release documents if applicable
Cincinnati specifics
In Cincinnati and across Ohio, RVs and motorhomes are subject to specific DMV regulations. It’s essential to ensure that the title is clear and free of liens before donation. Ohio typically requires a signed title transfer for the sale or donation of any vehicle, and if you lack a title, a bill of sale may suffice for some transactions. This local context ensures your donation goes smoothly, allowing us to help you and the community seamlessly.
